When you are a part of network marketing company, the introduction is very important. I am sure that you have heard that first impressions are everything and your introduction is no different. I want to help you with your introduction so that you can avoid the 3 most common mistakes made when doing the introduction and how you can perfect the introduction.
Mistake #1 is talking too much when you meet someone. The common mistake is to try and explain them into your opportunity. When I first started Talk Fusion, I wanted to tell my prospects everything about Talk Fusion. I wanted to tell all about the products. I wanted to tell about the company......blah, throw up, repeat. Your job is not to explain everything. Your job is to intrigue and introduce people to the opportunity. You are not going to talk everyone into the opportunity. In fact you will talk very few, if any so quit talking so much.
Mistake #2 is failing to qualify who you are talking to. Why do people do what they do? The answer is people do what they do because they are motivated to do so. Once you discover their motivation, then you have discovered the hot button of why your opportunity is for them but I caution you to be genuine. This is relationship marketing and you need to genuinely care.
Mistake #3 Not having patience in the introduction phase. You must introduce and then stop talking and let them discover what you are trying to show them by way of webinar or video. Let the sales tool do the sale and not be so excited you try and sell. Network marketing is about leveraging relationships no matter how long or short they are.
